Conferences and study days
For the lunch break of a conference or a study day, I set up a hot buffet before the end of the morning: your participants help themselves as soon as they leave the room.
Your speakers often come from several countries, with different diets. Every dish has its label, a fully vegetarian version is always available, and several dishes have a halal option on request.
Exam juries, deliberations and department meetings
On a day of juries or deliberations, the break is short and nobody wants to leave the room. The kitchen prepares closed individual portions, with a label for each dish: everyone eats at their seat.
Saturdays too, on request: tell me as soon as the date is set.
PhD receptions, graduations, end-of-year drinks
After a PhD defence or a graduation ceremony, your guests stand and talk: canapés eaten by hand, nems, spring rolls, steamed buns, shrimp fritters.
If the reception ends late and nobody can stay for the equipment, I plan a format that needs no collection.

- You receive two menus and a quote within 48 hours.
- The kitchen cooks your menu on the morning of the meal.
- I take all the equipment back. Nobody on your side has anything to tidy up.

- The curries, the fried rice and the stir-fried noodles have a halal option, on request.
- The allergens in each dish (the 14 regulated allergens) are given to you in writing, free of charge, on request, before you order, and repeated at delivery. Recipes can change from one order to the next: please mention any allergy before ordering.
- I deliver to offices across the 19 municipalities of Brussels, and around Brussels on request.

Can an outside caterer use our rooms?
Some university rooms have their own rules for outside caterers. Check with the office that manages the room and send me their instructions: I follow them.
How many canapés should we plan for a reception?
It depends on the time and the length: a one-hour drink does not need the same as a reception that replaces dinner. Tell me the time, the length and the number of guests, and I work out the quantities.
Can we have the quote in English or Dutch?
Yes. Write to me in your language: I answer in the same one, and the quote too.
Can we have vegetarian and halal options?
A fully vegetarian version is always available, and several dishes have a halal option, on request. Vegetarian, halal and allergies, in detail.
For how many people?
Up to about 150 people. The menu is built around your numbers and your budget.
How much does it cost?
From €24 per person, with a €250 minimum per order. Tell me your budget and the number of people, and I put together two menus around it.
How far in advance should we ask?
The quote goes out within 48 hours. The earlier I know the date, the wider the menu choice. If it is soon, call me on a weekday between 11am and 4.30pm and we will see what is possible.
